It was 1946 when Domenico Poiatti, owner of ancient mills, in a very difficult period for Italia had the intuition to create a pasta factory in Mazara del Vallo, in Sicily. Since then, that passion has never been lost. Domenico managed to pass it on first to his children, and then to his grandchildren, who inherited their love for pasta from their grandfather.
