Dear Families,

from today you have one more reason to bring Pasta Poiatti to the table every day. In fact, we have obtained an important recognition. Poiatti, the original, has been declared “historic brand of national interest”. What does it mean? It is an extra protection, for us and for you. It is in fact an institutional recognition of the Ministry of Economic Development to protect famous and prestigious brands, excellences with more than half a century of history. Just like Poiatti pasta. It is an attestation that makes us proud, which gratifies our effort to produce a quality pasta, obtained from 100% Sicilian durum wheat. It was 1946 when Domenico Poiatti, owner of ancient mills, in a very difficult period for Italia had the intuition to create a pasta factory in Mazara del Vallo, in Sicily. Since then, that passion has never been lost. Domenico managed to pass it on first to his children, and then to his grandchildren, who inherited their love for pasta from their grandfather. The Original Poiatti has been able to evolve, embracing change but keeping the love for quality and respect for tradition intact. The Poiatti brand has conquered the table of families in Italy and around the world, with over one hundred pasta shapes available in supermarkets. Today we see the commitment, stubbornness and passion that have made our pasta “inimitable” for over 75 years rewarded. Thank you for sharing this story with us. And enjoy your meal: like every day, we are at the table with you.
