Blue is...
the color of the Mediterranean Sea
that caresses the coasts of Sicily, that enters the port of Mazara del Vallo, that welcomes and at the same time has no borders. The Mediterranean Sea occupies only a very small part of the total surface of the seas and oceans, but it is an authentic treasure of biodiversity. This is due to the intertwining of millennia of human and natural events, a mix in which Mazara del Vallo and all of Sicily are at the centre. Our beloved island has a thousand shades, scents, flavors and its particular characteristics make it a miniature continent embraced by the Mediterranean Sea.
A mixture of diversity guarded by blue, which we wanted to remember in every package of Poiatti pasta.

harmony
because it reminds us of the blue sea of Mazara del Vallo that meets the gold of 100% Sicilian wheat.
This brings to mind the words of the German scholar and traveler Goethe, who exalts Sicily in his verses: "The purity of the contours, the sweetness, the degradation of the tones, the harmony of the sky, the sea, the earth ... who he has seen once he will not forget them for the rest of his life”. Poiatti has been transforming the intense emotions that Sicily releases into taste for almost eighty years and declines them in over one hundred different formats.
For us, this too is poetry.

the pride
of an expanse of blue packages on the grocery shelves, which we all recognize as the Original Pasta Poiatti. We are proud to have been among the first in Sicily, in the 1950s, to cross the thresholds of supermarkets outside the borders of the island, increasing formats and making known the quality of 100% Sicilian wheat.
Today Pasta Poiatti, in its shiny blue packaging is known all over the world.
